All puppies are required by the State of Pennsylvania to remain with their mother and littermates until they are 8 weeks old. This is a critical time for a puppy's development. Living with their mother and siblings teaches them how to interact politely with other dogs and read body language so they can reach their best potential as a dog and a companion animal. It ensures the puppies have everything they need for their physical, psychological and social well-being. Mom naturally weans her babies allowing their physical growth and mental development to be the best possible. Through disciple from their mom and playtime with their litter-mates, they learn behavior patterns that are acceptable and those that are not.
Occasionally there are times when a puppy will need to remain with the breeder a little longer before it can leave for its forever home. This is always in the best interest of the puppy, and should this be the case with your puppy, we will explain to you the specific reasons.
Yes! Each of our puppies are exposed to a wide variety of sights, sounds, and smells of the average family so the transition to a new home is not as abrupt. The puppies are played with daily by Sam's children and are well accustomed to the rambunctious, joyful noises of children! Please remember that all children should be supervised when playing with a puppy.
Newborn puppies require a safe, secluded environment between 85 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The Puppy Nursery is the perfect place for expectant mothers to relax and prepare for their big day! Each puppy is born in the Puppy Nursery where they and their mother receive the highest level of care, attention, and loving human interaction before they are big enough to venture out into the world. Most puppies continue to sleep in the Puppy Nursery until they are adopted. They spend their days playing with their siblings indoors, out in the yard, or in the puppy play pen when they can not be under direct supervision.

Our pet policy is as follows... and all puppies are listed at pet prices and do NOT come with breeding rights or registration for the listing fee.
To protect our bloodlines and ensure that we preserve our dogs’ genetics is to enforce a pet only policy. Our puppies are sold for pet prices which does not include registration papers, however our puppies are from registered parents. With some of our litters we do not offer paperwork of any kind, however some exceptions can be made as long as our pet only
policy is upheld. If you purchased a pet only puppy, AKC paperwork can be ordered for you once your pet is spayed. The only way we can guarantee that a dog will not be bred to verify
they were spayed/neutered. We are happy to provide the paperwork for your puppy once we verify the
following…
1. Please share the receipt/invoice from the vet that shows the permanent ID for the dog and the date of the spay.
2. Please photograph the stitching or scar where your puppy was fixed.
